Creative Writing and the Curriculum

A three-part training programme of 45/50 minute sessions focused on improving children's writing.

Session 1: What is Creative Writing?

• An introduction to writing creatively and the research behind its importance for children.

Session 2: Become a Creative Writer

• To learn the creative writing strategies required to plan and write outstanding stories.

Session 3: Greater Depth Writing & The Curriculum

• To explore how creative writing can be implemented into existing school writing curriculums.
• To understand how creative writing improves greater depth writing, as well as children's ability to write with natural flair.
